Sound Transit contracts with King County Metro to manage and operate Link Light Rail

Sound Transit is involved only as much as controlling purse strings and handing down edicts and policies

Management is more concerned with the appearance of safety than with safety

Management is more concerned with spending than with employee safety

Management prefers to hire from outside rather than to promote from within

Moral is insanely low due to management

Decisions are made by people that have no idea what's going on

Management will force dangerous situations rather than admit fault and correct it.  For example, promoting people that prove to be inept, then keeping those people in place.  Hiring people to train operators that have to be trained to operate themselves.
